ROYAL SALUTE
Coronation Cup

Royal Salute has a long and treasured association with polo, the so called Sport of Kings, and is the proud sponsor of the Coronation Cup. Polo has always been played by royalty. From the moment the Persian royal family adopted the game to train the King’s Elite Cavalry, right down to members of today’s monarchy, crowned heads have been riding chukkas harder than anyone.
Guests were invited to ‘a quintessentially British picnic’ at the Royal Salute Secret Garden, an area at Guards Polo Club reserved exclusively for friends of the brand. The graphic look was inspired by the works of British craftsmen such as William Morris, including an intricately lasercut invitation, inspired by his works for the Kelmscott Press. The programme cover brought proceedings up-to-date by featuring an illustration of a legendary (and possibly fictional) polo king by Katie Scott.
