Groove Armada are an English electronic music duo, comprised of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay. After taking the decision to strip back their live performances to DJ sets they asked for help to devise and produce the visuals for a series of live shows under the name Red Light Live.
In partnership with digital agency futuredeluxe a range of bespoke audio visualisation tools were provided, that could be triggered by Tom and Andy. The use of two Kinect cameras and a custom built generative application turned their movements into large scale digital landscapes which were also used for their first music releases under the moniker Red Light Trax.
