Scalpel is a biannual publication created for an audience of 600 executives at Pernod Ricard. It’s role is to inspire creative collaboration with the best emerging talent in photography, film, art, technology, music, fashion, design, retail and gastronomy, as selected by experts in these fields.
The brief was to bring this publication to life, and to do justice to the incredible work it showcases. This started with putting together the editorial team who collated the content, then ran to creative direction, design, layout and print production. This commission allowed creative freedom and encouraged an experimental approach which extended to the use of diverse materials, paper stocks and finishing techniques.
